This page explains what information Glossy Tanning Ltd collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. We don't sell your data, and we only use it for the reasons below.

Contact form

When you send us a message, we keep your name, contact details and message so we can reply to you.

Shop orders

When you buy from our online shop we collect your name, email address and phone number, and your delivery address if you choose delivery instead of Click & Collect. We use these to process your order, email your receipt and updates (such as when your order is ready to collect), and to deliver it or hand it over in salon.

Payments

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy.

Glossy offers sign-up

If you sign up for offers, we keep your first name, email address, mobile number (if given) and preferred salon so we can send you Glossy news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails, or by contacting us.

Bookings, courses and Glossy Rewards

Online bed bookings and tanning course purchases are handled by Salon Tracker, and our Glossy Rewards loyalty scheme is run by Piggy. When you use them, your details are collected by those services under their own privacy policies.

Who else sees your information

We only share your information with the services that help us run the website and shop: our website host, Stripe for payments, and our email provider for sending order and contact emails. They may only use it to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for six years, as required for our tax and accounting records. We keep messages from the contact form for up to two years, and offers sign-ups until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@glossytanning.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site, and your basket is saved on your device so it's still there when you come back. We only use analytics cookies, to understand how the site is used, if you accept them.
